Christina Perri says a thousand years. The bad thing is that we don't have that much time to live and wait. But the concept is understood if you wish to see it. Sometimes having hope and belief is a great thing, something to believe in is all the heart needs. Even when you seem in the darkest corner, shunned and hurt, keep an inkling of hope for yourself. Even the ancient gods put hope into Pandora's box with all the evils of the world. don't let what was warm turn into something that is hard and cold, something that knows no warmth, only seeing the darkness in everything and everyone.
One step closer to the edge is where it shall take you if you are not careful enough. Never lose faith in yourself. Some of us have learnt this the hard way. You'll lower yourself to the level that doesn't befit you and those around you. Wait for a while and you shall see it if you're a wise, even if it takes you a thousand years
